Going nuts for almonds

Ingredients

Almond Bread
1 1/2 cups type 1 flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup Bio Almond Drink
1/2 cup  sunflower oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
3 tablespoons sliced almonds, for garnishing

Preparation

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Whisk into the flour mixture. Set aside. In a separate medium- sized bowl, combine the almond milk, oil and vanilla. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Pour the mixture into a prepared loaf tin. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until golden brown, and the bread sounds hollow when tapped. Place the loaf on a cooling rack and cool for 15 minutes. Not only can you pour your cereal and granola over it, but you can also eat it with baked goods, oatmeal and smoothies.
